How We Saved a Million Dollars with TWI

Presented By:

George Hoskins

With Co-Presenters:

Derrick Rutland & Steven Butler

 Session Abstract:

After having tried other continuous improvement programs, the Waxahachie team wanted to get back to basics.  Facing a growing workforce and impending retirements, the leadership team knew that they had to develop a system for training their employees.  They didn’t know that TWI would deliver where other programs hadn’t.

Learning Objectives:

“In this session you will learn…”

  • How to structure the project to develop and focus sustained energy for using the TWI tools
  • How to select and run a steering team that guides and motivates the organization to reach it’s goals.
  • Re-energize, involve and empower a workforce that had reached “programmatic change” burnout.
  • How to structure the process to ensure continued use of the TWI tools and continued improvement
