Kaizen Post-Event Success

Presented By:

Jean Cunningham

Session Abstract:

Your kaizen events are great, but then the great ideas and waste reduction just never gets implemented.   Jean has supported many kaizen improvement events and will share with you what she has learned about improving post-event success.   You will leave this session with practical suggestions to implement right away. With improved kaizen event follow-up, you will increase the commitment to Lean-based change in your organization.

Learning Objectives:

“In this session you will learn…”

  • time utilization within the kaizen event.
  • how to set appropriate expectations.
  • to separate true homework items from overall improvement opportunities.
  • to monitor and use PDCA for post-event improvements.
