Perspective and the Ensuing Journey into Lean HR

Presented By:

David Manning

Session Abstract:

Having an understanding of Lean Philosophy and applying Lean Thinking and Tools within the context of Human Resources is challenging. Success is only realized once a proper perspective about who you are and why you exist is understood. With the right perspective, Lean tools can be deployed to improve and increase the services provided by HR.

During this session, I will share my perspective on Lean Human Resources and discuss our journey at McKee Foods Corporation, Gentry, AR Operations. I will share a significant change in perspective and the resulting attitudes and activities that are transforming the Human Resources function from merely a transactional HR department into an integrated, value-aiding strategic partner.
